Heulan Doris Whitfield, 81, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was born to the late John and Gusta (Gayler) Whitfield on February 29, 1944 in Mountain View.
Heulan loved grading dirt; being on his tractor brought the biggest smile to his face. He enjoyed fishing, listening to country music especially Willie Nelson, a good game of golf and playing poker. Heulan was a General Engineering Contractor who turned desert golf courses into a beautiful and relaxing oasis, where everyone was in awe of their picturesque surroundings. He had such a deep voice, however, he was soft spoken which put everyone at ease with his kind and gentle nature. Heulan's greatest love was for his family. The adoration of his family was what drove him to be the man that he was. He counted his family as his most treasured possession. Heulan will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Heulan is survived by his wife, Joanne (Pare) Whitfield of Mountain View; son, Charlie Ellis; daughter, Teresa Engle; brothers, Doug, Johnal, Donald; sisters, Imojean, Jodi, Joyce; two grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Heulan is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Brayden; sisters, Joy, Nadine and Judy.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Roller Crouch Funeral Homes was in charge of the arrangements.
