Emogene ''Jean'' Derrick Jenkins, 93, of Manila, passed away on April 17, 2025. She was born in Tyronza on March 16, 1932, to Willie and Iva Derrick. Emogene attended church at Little River Church of Christ in Athelstan. She enjoyed spending her time crocheting, visiting the Manila Senior Center, playing card games, bowling, and bingo. Emogene also found joy in spending time with her family and friends. Emogene is survived by her daughters: Judy (Roger) Ferrell, Linda (Greg) Clark and Diana (Steve) Welch; grandchildren: Chris Ferrell, LeAnn Helms, Bryan Gist and Annie Grimes; great-grandchild: Chad, Chase, Buck, Chloe, Emma, Bodi, Braden, Cheznie, Carson, Brylee and Blake; 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; sister: Jodene LaRue. She was preceded in death by her loving husband: Jack Jenkins; her parents; sisters: Wilma Short, Minnie Stout and Arlene Cissell; brothers: Bruce Derrick and Glenn Derrick. A visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm.

Ms Jean was a sweet & lovable lady! I knew her from the Senior Center & she loved to tell funny stories of she & her late husband when they lived in Memphis! She was lived by everyone.
