Linda Sue Inboden

of Jonesboro, AR

July 22, 1940 - April 12, 2025

Linda Sue (Palmer) Inboden, age 84, of Jonesboro, AR, beloved wife, stepmother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born on July 22, 1940, in Searcy, AR, Linda was a lifelong example of grace, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and her faith.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of forty-four years, Bill Inboden; her stepchildren Kim (Toni) Inboden, Clay (Marsha) Inboden, Paula Inboden, all of Jonesboro, and Kevan (Bridgette) Inboden of Fayetteville; her eight grandchildren, to whom she was lovingly known as ''Ma'', Lee (Tabitha) Inboden, Mary Hollis Inboden, C.J. (Maleigh) Inboden, Morgan (Austin) Lawhon, Julie (Jeffrey) Tubbs, Mollie (Mason) Reynolds, Corey (Evie) Inboden, and Colby (Hailey) Inboden; and eleven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Billy ''Bo'' Palmer, and many cherished nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Retha Palmer, her brother Darrel Palmer, her sister Ramona ''Babe'' Riddle, and great grandson Elton Reynolds.

Linda's passion was caring for her family and her church family. She was a devoted member of the Bono Church of Christ for over forty years and was deeply involved in the church community until her health declined. Her faith was a constant source of strength and compassion in her life. Family was the heart of Linda's world. She found immense joy in hosting birthday parties and holiday celebrations, and she never missed an opportunity to attend her grandchildren's events. Her presence was a source of positivity and comfort to all who knew her-always loving, always kind, and always encouraging. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

Services are private.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be grandsons, grandsons-in-law, and nephew, Regan Palmer along with his son, Hudson Palmer.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House for their kindness and care and, in lieu of flowers, we ask that those wishing to make a memorial contribution consider the Bono Church of Christ food pantry (101 Craftsbury Bono, AR 72416), the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House (www.stbernards.info/foundation/donate-online/), or a charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are under the care of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.

Linda and Bill have and always will be considered family to me. Lindsey loved them so much. You could not find a sweeter lady-truly virtuous woman. Heaven truly gained an angel. I’m sure my dad was glad to see his neighbor.
