October 10, 1948 - April 5, 2025
Elizabeth Ann Cantrell, born in El Dorado, AR on October 10, 1948, was called home to be with our Lord Jesus on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m. She passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith that will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Mildred Brewer, and her beloved son, Michael Cantrell. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, James Robert "Bobby" Cantrell; her daughter, Kristin Elizabeth Warner, and son-in-law, Justin Warner; and her cherished granddaughters, Emily Claire Warner and Kimberleigh Warner. Ann also leaves behind two brothers, Glenn Brewer of Pryor, Oklahoma, and George Brewer of Pine Bluff, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
A devoted member of Second Baptist Church, Ann served her community with a heart full of compassion. For over 30 years, she worked in the church newborn nursery, lovingly holding and rocking babies. She also dedicated her time to planning and coordinating weddings, and volunteering with the Women's Lunch Break. Her unwavering faith and dedication to service touched the lives of many, and she was known for her kind spirit and nurturing nature.
Ann's life was a beautiful reflection of the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her gentle, caring presence will be remembered always, and her impact on those she encountered will continue to shine brightly.
She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and faith will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the countless lives she touched.
A celebration of her life will be held at Second Baptist Church. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. to be followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. Graveside service will be at East Shady Grove Cemetery in Greenbrier, AR at approximately 3:30
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Second Baptist Church Nursery Fund or a charity of your choice in Ann's honor.
Rest in peace, Ann. The love and light you have in Christ Jesus will guide us until we meet again.

So sorry to hear this news. Ann was a sorority sister at UCA. May God be with you all in this time of grief.
Our hearts go out to your family. I remember how Ann had a way of making EVERYONE feel like they were a part of her family. She never met a stranger and truly loved everyone. She was a hard worker, creative and resourceful. She always wanted to help as many people as she could, and she did. I include myself as one of those people. Words just can not do justice to all she did to share the Lord, Jesus with everyone. She did so by the way she addressed and cared for everyone. Ann was always available to help in anyway she could. How God has gained a wonderful spirit.
All our prayers are with you. Tiger and Diane Henson
