Lottie Lee Potts, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home in Helena, Arkansas on Friday, February 1, 2025. She was born on Tuesday, October 22, 1935 in Manila, Arkansas to the late Gathan and Mary Short. Lottie enjoyed gardening, canning, shelling pecans, being active and helping people.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Potts, Alexander Scott Potts, Quinberlynn Michelle Potts, Shannon Renee Potts and Dennis L. Watkins, Jr.; thirteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and one sister, Ollie McWilliams.
Lottie is preceded in death by her parents, Gathan and Mary Short; beloved husband of fifty-six years, Quimbia Potts; son, Quimbia Rex Potts; daughter, Patricia Watkins; one granddaughter, April Dorlinda Watkins; brother, Gathan ''Bud'' Short and sisters, Wanda Wyatt and Mary Williamson.
The Pallbearers will be Chester Short, Jason Short, Jonathan Gschwend, Christopher Potts, Clayton Anthony Potts and Danny Newsom.
A funeral service for Lottie Lee Potts will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in West Helena, Arkansas.
At the service, Lottie's family asks that you join them in sharing all your precious memories about their loved one.

From the very first time I met this beautiful lady she swept me right up and loved me like I was one of her own. I cherish all the meals I got to help her cook at the store. I will surely miss her. I am so sorry for yalls loss and I am praying for all of the family! I know Maw is rejoicing in the Lords arms now.
Ms. Lottie and Mr. Quimbia was our neighbors for years. We lived around Modoc and they were the best!! Patty, Rex and everybody was good to my family and I. What a great reunion it will be!! You all have my prayers and condolences at this time.
