Alice B. Sampley, 88, of West Memphis, AR passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025 in Memphis, TN. She was born on November 10, 1936 in Alice, TX to Antonio and Rita Barrera.
Alice enjoyed quilting, embroidering and planting flowers in the spring. She mostly enjoyed being outside enjoying fresh air, her beautiful flowers and her water fountains.
Alice is survived by her children, Laquita (Buddy) Taylor, Willie (Sharon) Sampley Jr, Fletcher (Jamie) Sampley, Greta (Allan) Watson, Debbie (Jerry) Aycock and Leslie Sampley. She also is survived by 16 grandchildren, a host of great- grandchildren and great- great grandchildren that all love and call her Memaw and Mimi. Alice is survived by 2 sisters, Aurora and Lena and 2 brothers, Ray and Tony.
Alice is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She is also preceded in death by 2 daughters, Brenda Schroeder and Ruby Sampley and 1 son, Jamie Sampley.
