Robert Earl Byrd, was born on April 29, 1937 the fifth child of Marvin and Mary Madeline Byrd in Wycamp, Arkansas. He peacefully passed away in Greenbrier, Arkansas on January 31, 2025 at the age of 87 years old.
Robert's love of farming began at an early age with his dad gifting him with his very first tractor as a high school graduation gift. In his later years he shared beautiful vegetables he grew at his home in Greenbrier.
Robert was a friend to all and never missed a chance to share his big smile and kind heart with others.
Most importantly, Robert's greatest love was his family. He loved his mom, dad and siblings deeply. He loved his wife and children immensely and never missed a chance to remind each of us how proud he was and how much he loved us.
Robert's earthly journey is finished but his smile, kindness and love will live on through his loved ones.
Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Opal; his parents; four sisters and two brothers.
He is survived by one brother, Doug Byrd; his second wife, Barb; his three children, Brenda Bennett (Mike), Donna Holt (Kenny), Robert D. Byrd (Tasha); ten grandchildren, Beth Miller (Jeremy), Robert Bennett (Mika), Kaleb Holt, Ryan Holt (Avery), Hunter Holt (Harley), Brent Holt (Julia), Abbi Byrd, Robert ''Maddox'' Byrd, Braylen Byrd, Justin Ballard and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services at Sunset Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to ''The Seeds of Love'', 12 Primrose Lane, Greenbrier, Arkansas 72058.

I was saddened to hear of Bobby’s passing. He gave me my first crop-dusting job back in 1968, trusting a young kid to spray his fields with a Stearman biplane. I’ll always remember his kindness and the confidence he had in me. My deepest condolences to his family and friends

I`m sorry Robert Byrd passed away I have known him for more than 60 years which began
at West Helena Second Baptist church . we had many things in common , I remember the
church soft ball league and the Mohawk league we played together in for many years. He
was a fine fellow and I know his family and many others will miss him. My condolences

Uncle Robert, one of my earliest memories of you is riding together on your tractor, you made me feel so special. Your smile would light up every room you entered. It meant the world to me when you made the long drive to Utah to be with us when my dad passed. I will always remember your kindness and love for family.
