Ellen Cecelia (Stritt) Snow, 81, a resident of Lamar, passed away Friday, September 27, 2024 in Clarksville. She was born February 24, 1943 to the late Albert Richard and Dorothea Ruth (Vickers) Stritt in New York City, New York.

Those that knew and loved Ellen say that she lived a long and fulfilling, exciting life that included awards won for her Barrell Racing times in New York. Her family and fellow church members will remember her for her love and commitment to those that she cherished.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Andrew George Snow; a brother, Albert Richard Stritt Jr; her daughter in-law, Kathleen Marie (Bailey) Snow and her grandson, Bryan Lee Kinman.

Those that are left to cherish her memories are her two sons, Andres George Snow, II and Albert George and spouse, Shelly-Ann Snow; her daughter, Ericka Cecelia and spouse, Lee Kinman and five grandchildren, Krista Leann Kinman, Albert Jared Snow, Justin Tyler Daugherty-Kiesling, Anna MacKenzie Snow and Andres George Snow, III.

Services for Ellen include a visitation at 10:00 a.m. on October 4, 2024, with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at River Valley Grace Lutheran Church in Lamar with Reverand Tom Bartzsch officiating. Private burial in Mt. Airy Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Her family welcomes donations be made to the River Valley Grace Lutheran Church as expressions of sympathy.
