Harold Randolph ''Randy'' Goetz, age 75, passed away September 27, 2024 due to complications from pancreatic cancer. He was born July 1, 1949 in Stuttgart, AR to the late Mae Ree Harris Goetz and Harold Leon Goetz. Randy was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Becky Elslander Goetz, brother-in-law, Bill Smith and a younger brother.
Randy was blessed to marry again and is survived by his loving wife, Susan Pack Goetz; his sister-in-law, Judy (Mike) Driver; brother-in-law, Ralph (Susan) Pack; sister-in-law, Cydney Elslander Smith, plus numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and many special friends.
Randy graduated from Stuttgart High School. During his time there he participated in various sports and clubs. He attended college at Arkansas State University. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting and traveling.
Randy joined Riceland Foods in Stuttgart in February 1974 as a Draftsman in the Engineering Department, where he was later named an Engineering Assistant. He then became Senior Project Manager in 2012. During those years Randy was a member of the Jaycees and served on the Board of Directors, President (1996-97) of Kiwanis Club and was President (2009-10) of GEAPS (Grain Elevator and Processing Society) the MId-South Chapter. He retired from Riceland Foods in July of 2020 after 46 years.
He attended St. Alban's Episcopal Church in Stuttgart where he served in many roles. After his marriage to Susan, they attended New Hope Church of the Nazarene, where his faith in Jesus Christ grew stronger, giving him even more hope and assurance in the eternal life waiting for him.
Those who were fortunate enough to know Randy would say that he was a kind and caring person and a true gentleman. He was always interested in the wellbeing of his family and friends and was a good listener. He will be missed by many.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 3rd, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Church of the Nazarene, 5519 Atwood Road, Little Rock, with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Lone Tree Cemetery in Stuttgart at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Chris Deen, Kevin Driver, Mike Driver, Matthew Dunn, John Hojda and Taylor Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Church of the Nazarene.

I met Randy in Sunday School one morning when he came with a dear friend of mine Susan. He was so polite. A gentleman whom lite up Susan's world. They married and seemed so happy. I know Susan misses him and I pray for peace & comfort. But she will see him again one day.

My condolences to Randy's family. Having grown up in the Lodge Corner community, I remember many many stories of Randy! He was a wonderful son to his parents and an asset to our town. I know he will be missed.

Randy was a true southern gentleman. Our parents lived close to each other, we knew each other through Kiwanis and St Alban’s and I always enjoyed talking with him. A fine man who left a positive mark.

Please except our condolences on Randy’s passing. Randy and I worked together on several projects during my early years at Riceland. He was always the most honorable and professional person to work with. We became friends and I have many fond memories of our visits when we were both assigned offices on the 3rd floor of the rice mill. He will be sorely missed. Prayers to all his family and friends.
