Barbara Ann Myers, 82, of Paragould, AR passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born on October 2, 1941 in Pocahontas, AR to Michael Joseph and Juanita (Barrett) DeSpain. Barbara was a retired nurse and a member of Ruddle Road Church of God. She loved to paint, crochet and was an avid reader, especially the novels of Stephen King.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jamie Brannam Cooper; a son, Michael David Brannam; a nephew, Bo DeSpain; brothers, Hugh Edward DeSpain and Donald Ray Lyles and a sister, Carol Zielinski DeSpain.
Survivors include sons, Jim (Christie) Brannam and Dr. Larry (Suzanne) Brannam; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Gail) DeSpain and Robert (Angie) Despain; sister Donna (Jim) Healey and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
