of Yellville, AR

September 8, 1961 - May 21, 2024

James ''Jim'' Lloyd Brumley Jr., age 62, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Tuesday May 21, 2024 in Yellville.

Jim was born in Modesto, California September 8, 1961 to James (Sr) and Linda (Bye) Brumley. He was a proud veteran of The United States Marine Corps, Jim served many years while stationed in North Carolina and California and deployed to The Gulf War.

Jim was a naturally gifted person in both athletics and mechanics. He made running look easy as he beat his peers on the track. You could also find him training in martial arts or on the baseball field where Jim had a knack for stealing bases. He was always improving his Datsun which lead him to become a certified Datsun technician at 19, prior to joining the Marine Corps.

Jim loved working with his hands and he has had many fulfilling hobbies throughout his life. Motorcycles, classic cars, custom engine modifications, woodwork, and racing are just a few. To keep his mind sharp Jim also enjoyed reading a good book.

Jim was a husband, father, son, brother and a Marine. He was an adventurous soul that was smart, fearless, good natured, well respected and loved. He will be greatly missed but his memory will live on through his family and all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn Brumley; daughter, Laura Holmes; father, James Brumley Sr. (Terry); Stepsons, David and Daniel Albright; stepdaughters, Heather Albright and Vicki Genova; sister, Christene (Tom) Santillan and numerous cousins.

James is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Bye-Davis.

Memorial will be held Sunday 6/9/24 at 3 PM at the Clarkridge Baptist Church. 11345 Highway 201 N, Clarkridge AR 72623.
