Ramah Jean Edwards

of Marble Falls, AR

October 26, 1929 - March 27, 2024

Ramah Jean Edwards, age 94, of Marble Falls, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born October 26, 1929 in Poteet, Texas to Austin B. and Zula L. (Robertson) McIntosh. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 62 years, Horace J. Edwards; her son, Ronald Edwards; two sisters, Vesta Rodgers and Omadell Garnett; and one brother, Chester McIntosh.

She was a great cook. Her kids remember coming home from school and her having warm chocolate chip cookies, homemade bread and other goodies for them. She was an excellent seamstress, sometimes staying up late making garments such as her daughter's dress for a special occasion. She tended to a garden and made preserves and pickles. She loved her family with her whole heart.

Ramah is survived by two daughters, Janet and her husband, Doug Fletcher of Mounds, Oklahoma and Angie and her husband, Michael Price of Henryetta, Oklahoma; one son, Shannon G. Edwards of Marble Falls, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Courtney and her husband, Chris Beene and Whitney and her husband, Jeremiah Edwards; four great-grandchildren, Hunter Beene, Colton Beene, Peyton Edwards and Skyler Edwards and many other family and friends who will dearly miss her.

Graveside service was on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at White Church Cemetery with Byron Cothran officiating.
