Janice Irwin, 81, of Lake City passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Gosnell Nursing Home. She was born February 12, 1943 in Monette to Earnest and Thalma Glover. Janice was a commercial fisherman and an owner of a turtle and fur business. She was a member of Refuge Baptist Church and she enjoyed gardening, shopping, flower arranging and spending time with her family.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life, her husband, Charles Irwin; daughter, Fonda Irwin; brother, Gary Glover and sister, Denetta Lindley.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Maverick (Leonna) Irwin; grandchildren, Shanette Irwin, Shane Irwin, Tiffany Reece, Brandon Reece, Chuck Reece, Teia Davis, Derick Irwin, Tyler Irwin, Daniel Winford, Anthony Reece and Zach Reece; thirteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and brother, Winford Parker.
All services are private.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.

So sorry for the loss of Janice , she was like a second mom to me , she saved my life many a time , I was always choking on something and here she would come running with fishy hands and kept me from choking . . Loved maverick and Fonda like family . She will be rejoicing with Charles and Fonda , oh happy day .
