Dollie Ruth Thornhill, 97, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, formerly of Clinton, passed away on February 21, 2024. She was born August 6, 1926 in Wisner, Louisiana to the late James and Melissa (Thomason) Thornhill. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Eli Thornhill, Jr. and daughter, Linda Ruth Kelley.
Dollie waitressed for her father at his family-owned business at a young age. She was an avid animal lover which led her to raise and show dogs. She was a very loving lady.
Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Jimmie (Barbara) Thornhill, several nieces, nephews and special family friend, Leah Compton and family.
Visitation services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2024 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Crowell Mountain Cemetery in Clinton, Arkansas.
