Mary Ann Parish

of Conway, AR

April 30, 1941 - February 12, 2024

Mary Ann Parish left her earthly home on February 12, 2024 and our beloved wife, mother and grandmother is now at peace with her Heavenly Father. Her unconditional love will be carried in the hearts of those she left behind.

She was born April 30, 1941 in McRae, Arkansas to the late Arthur and Eureka (McCoy) Hiland. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Meta Johnson (Bully), Ouita Earney (Floyd), Billye Palmer (Dib), Betty Pike (Dean) and brothers, JW Hiland (Doris) and James (Jim) Hiland.

Mary Ann was a faithful member of Conway's First Baptist Church and devoted her life to her family and her Heavenly Father. She loved to spread God's Word and taught ''Joy of Living'' classes as well as Sunday School and classes for young mothers on raising a family in God's Word and the importance of a godly woman and mother.

Those left behind to cherish her wonderful memory are her devoted husband of 65 years, Glen Parish; her daughters, Debi Hilton (Frank) and Robin Porter; four grandchildren, Beth, Jimmy, Dakota and Sheridan; many great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Kay Hiland and a host of nieces; nephews and friends.

Visitation will be 6-8PM Thursday, February 15, 2024 and the funeral will be at 10AM Friday, February 16, 2024 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association.

Worked with Mary Ann many years ago. Feel very blessed to have known her and her family. She was a Godly woman with which I had great respect and admiration for. She was a great example of a warm , loving, kind human being that was loved by many and will be missed by all that knew her. Regret not getting to see her in her latter years. Pray for comfort for her family in this time of loss.

Ms Mary Ann was one of the first ladies I met when we first started attending Conway's First. She took me under her wings and really was instrumental in my walk with Christ during that time. She was always so kind. Joy and wisdom just flowed from her anytime I had a question. I know you will miss her immensely.

So sorry for the families loss and a loss for our church family. Just a dear lady who made me feel so at home when we first started at Conway First. I can still remember where her and Glen sat every week in the worship center when they were able to attend. Bless Glen’s heart as well.
