Mr. Raymond Hughes, 92, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 in Mountain Home. He was born on October 24, 1931 in Ironton, Missouri to Roy and Margaret (Wood) Hughes. He was married to Lucinda (Bundy) Hughes for 6 years. He attended the Good Shepherd Methodist Church in Cotter, Arkansas, was n U.S. Army Veteran, a chemical engineer for PPG Inc., an owner of his own construction business and a volunteer at Baxter Health. He loved his family.
Raymond is survived by his wife and stepson, Ron Dunteman. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Renee Hughes; parents and 6 siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Good Shepherd Methodist Church.

My Uncle Ray was 10 years older than me. My mothers youngest brother. My hero..always so loving with a smile that hit his eyes instantly. Time and distance took us in many directions. Love my Uncle Ray with all my heart, He is with love one and building many heavenly palaces.
