We only knew Billy in the produce department at our most favorite store since moving here in 2001. Really enjoyed talking Bible with him and wanted to visit with him after his retiring from Edwards/Cash Savers but will now have to wait till the resurrection and the Kingdom.

What a legend Billy leaves. The beautiful combination in song (Billy @ piano, Brenda’s melodious voice, together completed a true message from God). May your kind & loving family find comfort TODAY & days following in the PROMISE you will meet again at your PERMANENT home. Prayers to each of you.

To Brenda and all the children and grandchildren, I am thinking of you. Billy was an exceptional person, who never met a stranger. He always took time to ask how you were doing and how you were feeling. He loved people, and was a great employee at Edwards’ Grocery for years. He will be missed. May Billy’s soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, thru the mercy of God, rest in peace!

My husband has worked with Billy for years @ Edwards/ Cash Savers. Billy was always ready to tell that next story or tell a funny joke he had heard and every time I saw Billy he would stop and ask how are youngest was and how she was doing in college. He was a friendly face that customers knew and enjoyed visiting with him.

He had a heart of gold and will be solely missed. Rest in peace Billy.

I have know Billy since I was a little kid when him and his family visited my Grandma and Grandpa (Pug and Pud) and going to church at Mincy. The one thing that I will always remember when I hear his name is his smile and his obvious love for the Lord. My heart breaks for his family.
