Mrs. Marilyn A. Ferrand, age 86, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2024. She was born on July 11, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois to the late John and Janet (Goes) Schapendonk.
A dedicated homemaker, Marilyn filled her home with warmth and love. She cherished her role as a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, creating a haven for her family throughout the years.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband, Robert E. Ferrand Sr., with whom she shared many years of memories and adventures. She is also survived by her devoted son, Dr. Tom Johnson (Pattie) and her two caring daughters, Kathy Regan (Mike) and Cindy Tipsord; one brother and two sisters. Also cherished family members; stepdaughter, Renee Schlink (Joe) and stepson, Robert Ferrand Jr. (Stephanie). Marilyn is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by one son, Richard M. Johnson.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Following the Mass, Marilyn will be laid to rest at Baxter Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under the care of Roller Funeral Home.
