Claudean Horne, 77, of Midway, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 in Conway.

She was born November 28, 1946 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to her parents, Claude South and Maudie (Ross) South. Claudean worked as a cook for Nebo Garden and the Dardanelle Nursing home. She enjoyed spending time with her cats and going to the beauty shop to be pampered.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of sixteen years, Arlis Fay Horne; two sons, Bradford Horne and Arlis Eugene Horne, a sister, Pat Croom and a brother, Ed South.

She is survived by her three sons, Jerry Horne of New Blaine, Bobby Brannon and wife, Tina of Russellville and Michael Brannon and wife, Carol of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two sisters, Daline Rash and Sharon Goad both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Adam Horne, Hunter Brannon, Hannah Gordon, Johnathon Hudson and Nathan Hudson; four great-grandchildren, Adryan Horne, Caden Horne, Julie Horne and Halley Gordon; other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 at Horne Cemetery in Midway.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

So very sorry to hear of Dean’s passing. She fought a good fight to stay and enjoy her loved ones.
We had lots of fun together and laughed a lot.
