March 31, 1967 - January 2, 2024

Barbara Ann Phillips, 56, of Redfield, AR passed away, at home, while surrounded by her husband and children on January 2, 2024. She was born March 31, 1967 in Arco, Idaho to Terry and Karen Monson and grew up as a true Idaho farm girl with her sisters, Debbie and Lisa. Barbara met and married her husband, David Phillips in 1987. The couple welcomed two children, Jessica and Andrew. Barbara brought sunshine to all who met her.

Barbara died after an eleven-month warrior's fight with grade four glioblastoma brain cancer. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at CHI St. Vincent in Sherwood and Little Rock, CARTI Little Rock and Arkansas Hospice for their love and care of Barbara.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Terry Monson and second husband, Dave Hathaway. She is survived by her husband, David Phillips; son, Andrew Phillips; daughter, Jessica McClure (Justin); grandsons, Gabe and Matt McClure; mother, Karen Stoddart and sisters, Debbie Glass (Michael) and Lisa Bateman (Aaron).

Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Tuesday, January 9, 2023 in the Chapel of Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock. Funeral services will be held 10 am Wednesday, January 10, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2045 Dave Ward Drive, Conway with burial following at 3 pm at Liberty Cemetery in Hunt, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to your local animal shelter or the SPCA in Barbara's memory.

Our hearts go out to Barbara's family and friends. We had the great privilege to work closely with Barbara while she was with Gartman System's. Her kind heart and loving nature showed through in her work and she will be truly missed.
