Brenda Keith

of West Memphis,

February 17, 1961 - December 23, 2023

Brenda Lea Keith, 62, of West Memphis, Arkansas, passed away on December 23, 2023. She was born on February 17, 1961, to parents Alfred and Helen Beasley, in Memphis, Tennessee.

She was a light in the darkness for many, and offered hope when there wasn't any. Opening her heart and accepting others, regardless of their journey or choices. The unconditional love and lack of judgement will forever be cherished by her loved ones and friends. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need and loved with everything she had. She enjoyed her quiet morning, sipping coffee, chatting with anyone who needed someone to listen. Many challenges she faced in her life; She faced them bravely, and we hope her spirit finds peace and solace. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Cicil Keith, Sr.; and her parents, Alfred and Helen.

She is survived by her son, Henry C. Keith, Jr.; daughters, Caroline J, Hightower, Jonnye K. Wisniewski, and Toni L. Keith; grandchildren, David Lawson, Jr., Devin Lawson, Charley Sampley, Cole Bledsoe, Ethan McEleya, Aden Hightower, and Bowen Hightower; great grandchild, David Lawson, Jr. III; brothers, Alvin Beasley and Joseph Beasley; and sisters, Rose, Nancy, and Judy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), reflecting her spirit of kindness and generosity.

Henry, Jonnye, Toni and family,
I’m so sorry to learn of the passing of your mother. I remember her coming to Bragg when you were in my class or one close by and she was always interested in what her children were doing. She was kind and considerate and I remember her sweet face and demeanor.
God bless you all now and in the days to come.

Brenda was such a sweet person and I'm so sorry to hear about her passing. She was always very kind to me, and when she and her husband (my brother) found out I was expecting my son, they went out and bought a crib for him, etc.
Literally the only so called family that congratulated me. Prayers and hugs to Johnye, Toni, Caroline, and Henry, along with all their children and grandchildren.
