Bryar Arlie Chisum, 11, a resident of Hector passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in Dover. He was born March 15, 2012 to Vanessa Lee and Travis ''TJ'' Chisum. Bryar loved to be outdoors; he enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, swimming and hanging out with his family and friends. He also played football and really enjoyed it. He loved riding around in the mountains with his dad while listening to music. He especially loved picking at his brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Stormy Rose Chisum and his Papa, Jimmy Don Chisum.
He is survived by his father, Travis Chisum of Hector; his mother, Vanessa Lee of Dover; three sisters, April Lee of Dover, Emma Baughman of Hector, Cedar Chisum of Hector; three brothers, Chance Ford of Dover; Eli Baughman and Tymber Chisum of Hector; his grandpa, Buddy Lee (Gracie) of Dover; his grandma, Tina Webb of Dover; his nana, Lynn Chisum of Hector and countless cousins, aunts, uncles and many other loved ones.
A visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, December 22, 2023 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 23 at Oak Grove Church in Atkins. Interment will follow at Moore Cemetery in Pelsor. Brother Keith Walters & Brother J.J. Ward will officiate. Patrick Vowels, Nathan Jones, Dustin Lindgren, Micheal Lee, Gaylin Clayton and Corte Kinsey will serve as casket bearers.

Bryar, We miss you at Hector Middle. It was the good old days we had back in kindergarten. That one time we took bubble tunes and poured them down the slide and then had to clean it up as well as getting a earful was the best time but it was also the one time I will never forget.

Son for the life of me I'll never understand why. I love you with all my heart son and I miss you so much. me and Daddy are barely making it but we got this. there's not a day that goes by that we don't talk about you. your brother and sister miss you so much. April said she loves you and she's in boot camp. the main thing keeping her going is you cuz she knows you would give her a hell if she gave up so please just know even though you're gone and not with us no one has forgotten you. your Uncle Michael wanted you to know that you better take care of that knife he gave you and guess what buddy the Chiefs won the Superbowl again.
