Valerie was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Margaret Rose Freeman and Enid Cynthia Freeman, but her legacy lives on through her surviving family members.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, David Miles; daughters, Debbie Luedtke (late husband, Scott) of Anderson, Missouri, and Linda Cort of Minden, Louisiana; stepsons, Trevon Miles (wife, Ramona) of Middleburg, Florida, Ronald Miles (wife, Melissa) of Rogers, Arkansas and Eric Miles (wife, Catherine) of Gosnell, Arkansas.

She leaves behind a host of grandchildren, Amanda, Jamie, Tiffany, Justin, Ashley, Amie, David, Lacey, TJ, BreAnna, Desirae and Alex and numerous great-grandchildren, Hayden, Brayden, Dylan, Faith, Emily, Lena, Hazel, DeAnna, Julius, Dakoda, Trace, Kash, Darla, Kaine, Katelynn, Emma, Connor, Landon, Paisley, Elliot and Shiloh.

My thoughts and prayers are with David and family. Val was my sister-in-law and was married to my brother Charles Bell, they had 3 daughters when he passed in 1974. I’m so glad Val and David found each other and Val and Dave continued to be our family in good times and sad ones.
She will be dearly missed, and will always be in our hearts.
Our love to all.
