Mr. James ''JW'' Woodrow Harrison peacefully passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2023.
James was born on March 4, 1941 in Osceola, AR. He was the son of the late Joseph Woodrow Harrison and Louella Brown Harrison. He attended Shawnee High School and graduated from Black River Technical College. James worked for many companies like Crompton and Magnetek Manufacturing and Arkansas Northeastern College where he was an instructor. He loved to read and collect guns and knives in his time away from work.
He is survived by his son, James Wayne (Fran) Harrison from Hartwell, GA and son-in-law, Frank Fleming; two sisters, Donna Sowa and Sheila Reeser both of Florida; six grandchildren, Bart (Jessica) Johnson, Ben Johnson, Beth (John) Martin, John Harrison, Kendall (Kegan) Price, Jasmine Harrison and nine great-grandchildren.
Mr. Harrison is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Wilson Harrison; daughter, Tammy Harrison Fleming and two brothers, Glen and Robert Harrison both of Osceola, AR.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home the following day, Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Louise Chapel Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Swift Funeral Home.

My condolences.I will never forget u coming and helping me get unstuck from middle of field…Robert was fussing cause ur vechile got muddy,u said all u gotta do is wash it off…matter of fact it was kinda enjoyable.Love you JW.
