Lela Porter, 93, of Earle, AR passed away on December 9, 2023 at home. She was born on September 6, 1930 in Earle, AR to parents, William Curtis Dillard and Mary Lee Crenshaw Dillard.

Lela was a member of the Marion Church of God. She worked at West Memphis School System for 28 years and at Uncle Johns for 15+ years. Lela loved to eat at Cracker Barrel. She also enjoyed spending her time watching TV.

Lela Porter was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Robert Porter; her parents; siblings, Randall Pardy, Marlene Whitten, Dustin Pardy; sister, Loreene Pollard and brother, Loyd Curtis Dillard and grandson, Camron Arredondo.

Lela is survived by her son, Michael James Porter (Nanett); 3 daughters, Patsy Whitten (Bobby), Sharon Rogers (Allen) and Rhonda Tucker (Brian); caregiver and grandchild, Ashley Tucker and 8 more grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; 12 Great-Great Grandchildren; brother William C. Dillard, Jr. and sisters Minnie Pennington and Mary Ann Collier.
