Darlene Jean Odom, 79, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in Paris. She was born on March 27, 1944 in Mason City, Iowa to her parents, Charles Joyner and Dorothy (Bowers) Decker.
Darlene worked at Stark Manufacturing in Paris. She loved doing puzzles, crocheting and spending time with her family, especially during Christmas which was her favorite time of the year.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Leroy Odom, one daughter, Tisha Pettigrew; one son, Stoney Gillet and two step sons, Leroy Odom and Bill Odom.
She is survived by one son, Larry Brown and wife, Brandy of Paris; one daughter, Julie Rampley of Georgia; one step son, Dennis Odom of Paris; one step daughter, Jane Odom of Bakersfield, California; one brother, Jerry Joyner of Colorado; 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
