Glenda Sue Loggains

of Greenbrier, AR

August 10, 1942 - December 6, 2023

Glenda Sue Loggains, age 81, of Greenbrier, Arkansas departed from this life into her eternal rest on Wednesday, December 6th, 2023. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on August 10th, 1942 to Adam James Reid and Mabel Glenn Reid.

Glenda loved her family, especially spending time with her sister, Virginia Lee. She also loved her fur babies that she had in her life-they gave her great joy and love. She had a strong work ethic, which started with working on the farm picking strawberries and tomatoes. Glenda worked in various capacities, but she enjoyed being a cook the most. Her last job was being a cook at Bob's Grill in Conway, Arkansas. Glenda demonstrated grace, courage and strength while dealing with her failing health. The family is extremely grateful for the excellent care she received at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenbrier, Arkansas for the last eleven plus years. She was lovingly known as ''Grandma''. They were her family and she loved them.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Earlene Carter (David-her favorite) of Greenbrier; granddaughter, Tina Kittridge of Damascus; step-grandchildren, Josh Carter and Matt Carter both of Greenbrier; two great-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; her sister, Virginia Lee Ragland of Marshall; sister-in-law, Davelene Reid of Springdale and a host of nieces and nephews, including Betty Smith of Siloam Springs, Joel Ragland (Cheryl) of Clinton, Windell Ragland of Marshall and Alan Reid of Springdale.

Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Mabel Reid; her son, James Dean Loggains and five siblings, Daisy Horton, Houston Reid, Margie McGinty, Roy Reid and Earl Reid.

May her soul rest in eternal peace reunited with her dear loved ones that have gone on before her.

Funeral services for Glenda will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 12th, 2023 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in Marshall Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will serve as bearers.

Earlene & family , I’m so sorry to hear your mom passed. She has been a trooper….i know when I worked at MEMS…and when we were called to Greenbrier Nursing. I always had to check on her. she had a smile on her face. Earl, she adored you. I’m praying that God wraps his arms around you and comforts you. You have beautiful memories…keep her alive in those. I Love you Earl….if you need me for anything please call me.
