I served in the Air Force.

Paul N. SivilsI am a Veteran.

of North Little Rock, AR

June 19, 1929 - November 26, 2023

Paul Norman Sivils passed away on November 26, 2023 among his loved ones. He was 94. He was born June 19, 1929 to the late Lola Barber Sivils and James Sivils. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Gloria Sivils, as well as 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
He is survived by his son, Robert Paul Sivils of Cabot, AR; two daughters, Angela K Harrington (Gary) of North Little Rock, AR and Robin Ann Naylor of Maumelle, AR; as well as 6 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and countless friends and family.

At the age of 21, Paul joined the Air Force where he served in the Korean War as a military police K9 handler. He often spoke of those days and could be heard sharing those memories of the days and nights he spent with his dog and other service members. Shortly after his 4 years in the service, he married the love of his life, Gloria Ann Sullivan in 1957, where most would agree the best part of his life was just beginning. Between 1960 and 1963, he welcomed his 3 children and in 1971, with a 9th grade education, 4 years of military service, 11 years in the sanitation industry and his family by his side, he was offered a partnership at Metro Waste. Over the years, the company was bought out, but ''Garbage'' as he was known as, continued to run the company, until he retired in 1996, after over 35 years in the sanitation industry.

Paul spent his time after retirement on the golf course, fishing, following sports and spending as much time as he could with his friends and loved ones. Some of his fondest memories being the times he spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1st at 11:00 AM at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at 10:00 AM.

Graveside services will follow at Gill Cemetery, at 2:30 PM in Van Buren, Arkansas.
