Billy Roy Wood, 74, of Damascus, AR went to be with the Lord, November 12, 2023. He was born September 4, 1949 in Monticello, Arkansas to Roy and Faye Wood. Billy was preceded in death by his parents.

Billy served many years in the Faulkner County Mounted Patrol and retired from the UCA Police Department and worked as a mechanic and part time with the Damascus Police Department. He loved to deer hunt and ride in his side by side. His favorite things was family vacations and spending time with his grandkids and spoiling them. Billy was a member of Timbo Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.

Billy is survived by his wife of 53 years, Raydean Wood; his two children; daughter, Michelle Clendenin (Johnny) of Hot Springs and son, Craig Wood (Brooke) of Greenbrier and grandchildren, Mikala Clendenin and Jackson Crisler, Also survived by his brothers, Charles and Carl Wood; sisters, Regina Rathburn, Vickie Greenlee and Lynda Strickland and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 2:00pm at Roller-McNutt in Greenbrier. Burial will follow at Martinville Cemetery.

The family would like to give special thanks to Hospice Home Care for the wonderful care and support.
