Phillip Dale Wells went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2023 surrounded by those he held dear, his family. Phillip was born on December 7, 1975 in Benton, AR. Phillip is preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Ronnie Dale Wells and brother, Brian Foy Wells. Phillip is survived by his mother, Kathy Ann Wells and brother, Paul Wells. Phillip is also survived by his life mate, Melissa Thomas; son, Ezekiel Wells and daughter, Alexandria Wells. Also, Phillip was proud to share his life with his stepchildren, Jasmine Thomas and Hunter Threlkeld and one adorable granddaughter, Jordyn.
When Phillip was not taking care of the sports facilities at Benton Public Schools, he enjoyed watching football, wrestling and UFC, which he did faithfully with his son, Zeke. In his spare time, Phillip always had a garden, searching for the hottest pepper he could find and especially grow. Phillip loved his family and loved to cook for all that came to his house.
Phillip will be remembered with a visitation on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 6-8 and a service on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 10 AM. Pall bearers serving in Phillip's honor will be Shane Ramsey, Aaron Bucher, Bo Williams, Dominick Cooper, Gage Lynch and Isaac Moore.
Services are entrusted to Roller Alcoa Funeral Home.

Phillip grew up with our girls heather and Vicki. He and his family were always good to us considering we were Yankees! So sorry for your loss. He was a very sweet and kind man.

I was saddened to hear of Phillip’s passing. I knew him through my time living in Arkansas and my friendship with his brother Paul. We would karaoke with his family, watch wrestling and eat some awesome grilled food that he and his family would prepare. He had a huge heart and interceded for me one time when I got myself into a jam. That experience and the notes from others are proof of a saint that the world has lost. My thoughts and prayers are with Phillip and their mother Kathy. May our Lord wrap you in His loving arms during this time. Love from Las Vegas.

Phillip was a good man and loved my best friend. My heart is sad for his family and Melissa. I only met him a few times but you could tell he was a good man and would do anything for people he cared about. May his spirit fly high and he will be watching over everyone.
