Deborah Leigh Vincent Perkins passed away on October 16, 2023 surrounded by her family at her home in Batesville Arkansas. Debbie was born January 6, 1955 to Richard (Ruddy) and Delores Vincent in Batesville, Arkansas.

Debbie was dedicated to her family, having been caregiver to both her mother and stepfather in their final days, while encouraging the well-being and care of her daughter, Norma Ann Perkins and then on to her grandchildren, Dace McCrae and Eden Rae.

Debbie was raised an Episcopalian and attended Batesville High School and later Arkansas College and both Arkansas State and Arkansas University, studying special education. Debbie had a love for animals and served as a veterinarian assistant to Dr. Mark Williams in one of her most loved jobs. Debbie's professional career included being a marketing executive and consultant in the insurance advertising industry, being based out of Dallas, Texas.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jon Perkins; one daughter, Norma Perkins of Batesville; two grandchildren, Dace Elumbaugh-Perkins and Eden Perkins of Batesville; sister, Vicky Vincent Bickers (Bobby) of Fairfield Bay and stepsister, Nancy Wright Hutcherson of Batesville.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Gordon Vincent; mother, Norma Delores Vincent Wright and stepfather, Paul F Wright Jr.

Funeral arrangements are with Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville and a Celebration of Life for Debbie will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church Parish Hall in Batesville on November 2, 2023 beginning at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Humane Society of Independence County or Legacy Hospice Assistance Fund.
