Reece Pouncil, Jr, 75, of Conway, AR, a proud veteran of the United States Navy, passed away September 20, 2023.

The son of Reece and Marci Pouncil, Reece was born August 6, 1948 in Kansas City, MO.

At the age of 26 he enlisted in the navy. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Senior Chief. Reece was recognized as an effective leader, he established high standards and was consistently successful in encouraging his peers to achieve them. He was a patient mentor, personable and intelligent, he was highly respected for his honesty, fairness and impeccable character.

Reece is survived by his lovely wife; Elizabeth; his brother; Glenn; his sister, Savannah; daughter, Tywanna; stepdaughter; Gabrielle; Stepson; Shannon; son-in-law, Richard ;to include six grand children, Alique, Andrew, Emma, Connor, Quinn and Devon; six great grand children, Zemirah, Zaire, Odran, Coairse, Mi­a and CJ.

A service honoring the life of Reece will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 11:00am at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
