Norma Lee Graves of Little Rock, Arkansas went home to heaven on September 12, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 27, 1927 in Keo, Arkansas to Bill and Letha Howell. She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church where she actively served for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert M Graves; parents; two sisters and one brother.
She is survived by four daughters and their husbands, Brenda and David Frensley, Lisa and Robby Robelot, Susan and Burt Lockard and Karla Brown and one son, Mike and Teresa Graves; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Norma grew up in Scott, Arkansas. She loved her first job as a powder carrier at the Little Rock Air Force Base. Her next job would be a book keeper for Young's Department Store in England and later Camden, Arkansas. The rest of her years were spent loving and nurturing her children. Our mother was a strong, spirit-filled woman of faith and a constant prayer warrior, a legacy she would impart to all of her children. As her children, we feel it is the greatest blessing we have ever been given.
The family is grateful for her many caregivers; her niece, Sonja Howell, The Hight House (Melissa, Kate and Lindy) and Hospice Home Care.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Roller-Owen Funeral Home, North Little Rock Arkansas. Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Little Rock.

I LOVED Mrs. Graves!! Have such fun memories of going to her house on Sunday afternoons & playing with all you girls. Then Mike came along & joined in!! Such a strong woman of God. Losing your mom is a hard chapter but knowing where she is is a great comfort.

Norma or Nana as I called her, is a true god sent Angel !! I met her when her only son MIKE and I married and had his son TREY. She took me in like her own- allowed me to live with her and took great care of me- Mike and Trey. She was every bit the prayerful Christian woman everyone speaks of. It was and still is quite humbling to me. I appreciated every ounce of compassion, grace, hospitality and love she showed me. Although I had not seen her in a while, she was always in my thoughts.
She is the most incredible Nana there ever was so I can only imagine what a mother she was. She taught me A lot and I will be forever grateful.
To the family. I love you All. I know you will miss her - and you know where she is !! She left an incredible legacy for you to go and carry the torch. She instilled in you all those same qualities; to be the servants we were called to be. I know you well and know you will do exactly that. Many hugs and prayers for you all

I learned a lot of life lessons from my mom. 1. Put God first, others second and yourself last. 2. Love and trust the Lord with all your heart. 3. Give and it will be given back to you. 4. Treat all people the way you want to be treated.
She lived this way all of her life. I used to sing the chorus to her, Did you ever know that you are my Hero You are everything I wish to be. I can fly higher than an eagle because you are the wind beneath my wings…afterwards in true mom fashion, she would say, Oh Word Lisa. I will see your little humble self soon mama!

Aunt LeeLee was always a compass that just pointed people in the right direction. I have been very lucky to have a few strong family members that nudged me down the É“est paths, not the easiest ones. Lee Lee was at the top of that list. Nothing was better than a Chritmas eve stop at her house to visit my cousins and see my aunt. Always encouraged us and cared about our lives. Everyone should be lucky enough to have an aunt like LeeLee. She will be missed tremendously.

When it comes to the most perfect woman I have ever known, God created it with my Aunt Lee Lee. Growing up, many great times were experienced with our families either at the Graves’ house or at the Howells for the holidays. I am so grateful for Aunt Lee Lee and her wonderful family. She will be dearly missed.

She was my mothers sister and after my mother died aunt Leelee carried me out to eat at restaurants and I stayed with her at the grocery store she ran on the old river road at Scott she took me to church and I saw her write checks that was for what I thought was a very large amount . If every body gave like she did there wouldn’t be preachers begging every Sunday I learned a lot from this very Godly woman and I have been preaching at the same small church for forty-two years I hope a little of Leelee rubbed off on me. Also I have never had to beg for money.I am looking forward to she her again in heaven.
