Garry Dale Hurst, 79, of Weiner passed away Monday, September 4, 2023 at St Bernard's Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1944 to Roy and Roxie Hurst in Arkansas. Garry was an electrician, he served in the U.S. Army and he enjoyed hunting, wildlife photography and gambling.
Preceding him in death are his parents; a daughter, Kelly Hurst; brothers, Delbert and Melbourne Hurst and a sister, Roberta Kirkwood.
Survivors include a son, Justin Hurst; daughters, Tracy Hurst and Kim Hurst and a granddaughter, Alexandria Hurst.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 6 at Clark Cemetery near Grubbs, AR at 9:00am.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are David Schwarz, Gary Easter, Bob Self, Keith Maxum and Justin Hurst.
Roller-Farmers Union is in charge of arrangements.

There was never a dull moment with you around. From the trips to Bass pro to the trips to the casino. I tried my first glass of champagne and bloody Mary with you. You added Tabasco to mine and I couldn't even drink it. The time I ran out of the house because a snake was coming out of the ceiling. The other time during the ice storm and limbs came down the chimney. You were proud of your mustangs. I smile knowing you had a good life and you are back with George. I'm sure he was waiting for you. You can be at peace now that's your work is done here.
