Pearl Fay Briggs, age 78, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2023 at her home.

Pearl was born March 14, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to Pavao and Margaret Ailene (Bryant) Grahovac. Pearl was a lady of many and diverse skills and interests. She worked as a police detective for Johnson County, Kansas Sheriff Department, she was a seamstress/designer for White River Industries, she worked at Citizen's Bank as a commercial accountant, worked for Marion County Judge as his assistant/secretary and road foreman, she was a purchasing agent for Microplastics and at Ranger Boats, she worked at Metalogic, was an Arkansas state Jail Inspector, a farmer, worked alongside Martha at Flippin Fancy Flowers, was a pharmacy tech at Sodie's Pharmacy and held jobs at Walmart, ABC-123 Thrift Store. Plus she was a Race Reporter and action photographer, writing articles as ghostwriter "Monroe Sizemore" for years. Pearl was a huge influence and partner in Briggs Racing Products. She had a love for animals of all kinds, but her family was her greatest love.

Pearl is survived by her son, John Briggs (Martha) of Flippin; three brothers, Paul Grahovac (Sue) of Kansas City, Kansas, Mike Grahovac of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Joseph Grahavoc of Mountain Home; two sisters, Eva Jensen (Ralph) and Margie Grahovac all of Olathe, Kansas; two grandchildren, John Robert Briggs (Kelsey) and Matthew Briggs (Lucy) and two great-grandchildren, Luke and Amzi Briggs.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.

Graveside service will be 9:00 am Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Mountain View Cemetery near Flippin.

Pallbearers will be John Briggs, Matt Briggs, Stephen Kucala, Wayne Wood, Joe Grahovac and Dempsey Thompson.

Pearl and I became friends when she worked for the county judge. She was the best multi-tasker that I’ve ever known. She was definitely one of a kind in the best way. I’m sure her family and friends will miss her a lot. Prayers for them all.
