Elocile K Uran, 78, of Mayflower, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, July 17, 2023. She was born May 22, 1945, in Little Rock, Arkansas to David and Eloise Keegan. Elocile was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Keegan Jr; sisters, Shirley Stacy and Kathleen Pool.

She enjoyed a long career of 39 years with Southwestern Bell/AT&T until her retirement. Elocile loved to travel, going to Europe, Jordon, Israel, Kenya and Mexico. Her and her husband, George, also traveled across Canada and most of the United States on a Motorcycle and they would often visit family in their truck camper. She also loved to fish, catching fish from Florida, Alaska and even Lake Conway.

Those left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, George Uran; sons, John (Sandy) Uran, Dave (Laurie) Uran; daughter, Julie (Eric) Nelson; sister, Sherrie (Dwayne) Lackey; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special ''Thank You'' to the CHI St. Vincent Sherwood ICU Staff and to our neighbor and special friend Anika Becker.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the First Baptist Church of Mayflower, with a visitation being one hour prior at 10:00am. Interment will follow at 3:00pm at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.

I worked with Elocile in the Conway Central Office for SWB for about 20 years! She was a wonderful co-worker with a good word for every one! Prayers for her family she left behind! Rest in peace, Elocile!

To the family;
Elocile has been a close personal friend for over 56 years. She was a perfect example of a fine Christian woman. No doubt she is with Jesus. Elocile and George were a wonderful match. She loved and cared for people. She will be greatly missed. Elocile was loved and will see her again in Heaven. 🙏🏼❤️❤️🙏🏼
