Albert Franklin Godfrey, age 79, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Rogers, Arkansas. Albert was born on Sunday, November 14, 1943 to the late William Albert Godfrey and Eunice Marie Duren Godfrey. Albert was in sales management for years, later moving to Hardy, Arkansas where he was a real estate agent. After moving to Hardy, he was saved in 2006 at First Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Highland, Arkansas. If you knew Albert, you knew he loved his stories! He loved his family, friends, church family, but he loved his Savior the most. Albert enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the lake for many years until his health issues occurred. Albert is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Pam May Godfrey; daughter, Lisa Godfrey Crum (Anthony) of Rogers, Arkansas; son, Tony Ridgeway (Brandie) of Ward, Arkansas; daughter in law, Sherry Godfrey of Rogers, Arkansas; Eight grandchildren, Robi Johnson (Gabriel), Blake Holland (Rebecca), Callie Wood (Jason), Kaylee Godfrey (Logan), Chase Godfrey, Conner Thomas, Gavin Ridgeway, Madison Ridgeway; Twelve great grandchildren, Dylan, Dawsen, Sophia, Braxton, Kobi, Breanna, Mason, Zane, Korbin, Lawson, Rhylynn, and Tripp; Brother in law, Rickey May (Susan); Sister in law, Sheila May (Kevin); and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. Albert is preceded in death by his parents; Mrs. Pam's parents; his grandparents; one son, Robert Franklin Godfrey; one brother, Harvey Godfrey; one sister, Sharon Kay Henson; two brothers in law, Tony May and Anthony (Billy) May; sister in law, Karen T. May; and one nephew, Ashley Ray May.A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 1:30 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Barton, Arkansas. A visitation will be held prior to the service at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel in West Helena, Arkansas at 12:00-1:00P.M. Brother Joe Berry will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Chase Godfrey, Conner Thomas, Shane Matthews, Gavin Ridgeway, Larry Lewis, and Anthony Crum. Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey May, Barry May, Kevin Crawford, Charles Powell, and John Shadow. Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870)-572-2571.
