of West Memphis, AR
January 12, 1987 - July 5, 2023
Shea Cole, 36, of West Memphis, Arkansas died on July 5, 2023. Shea was born on January 12, 1987 in Memphis, Tennessee. A 2005 honor graduate of West Memphis High School, he was a Blue Devil baseball player, golfer and a friend to everyone he met. He graduated from Arkansas State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Finance and was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity. In 2015, he graduated from Barret's School of Banking.
With an infectious laugh and a smile that lit up a room, Shea was the light and life of every gathering. He had more rhythm on a dance floor than most could dream of and could reel you in with a captivating story. He was ''the baby'' of the tight-knit neighborhood family, which made him the brunt of jokes and childhood mischief. His easy persuasion and million dollar smile could get him out of any predicament he found himself in. Shea accrued many nicknames over the years, most famously ''Shea Johnson'', then later ''Uncle Shave.'' His favorite name, by far, was Dad. Being Smith's father was his greatest accomplishment and joy in life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert. He is survived by his son, Smith; mother, Cindy; brother, Adam (Shelbi); nieces Troy and Catt and ''the village''.
Visitation will be at the United Methodist Church of West Memphis Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial at 11:00 a.m. Honorary Pallbearers are Adam Cole, Cam Deacon, Ross Bland and Tom Duck. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
So sorry to hear about Shea, an infectious smile whenever I saw him. RIP Buddy.

My heart is sad for Shea’s family. I worked with Shea for several years he was always positive and up beat. Prayers for his “village†especially Smith.
Being the youngest of 6, I can relate to his story, which is not done. He is now in Heaven and learning and seeing so much while being United with His Father. I always find comfort in prayer and in The Word. Romans 8:38 & 39…For I AM Convinced…He made a Way to Our Father by taking on all my Sins, so I push on and share his Eternal Love while in this temporary body. Hug your Kids and Tell them of your love and the Love of our Father.
