October 6, 1938 - June 13, 2023

Betty Jo Bell, 84, passed away on June 13, 2023 at her home in Marion, Arkansas. She was born the oldest of 4 children on October 6, 1938 to Joseph and Bertie Cupples in Henderson, Tennessee.
Mrs. Bell, better known as Mrs. B.J. in the community, was known for trying to do and take care of others. She was a selfless, no questions asked, what do you need kind of person. If you needed help or her for anything, she was there, a mother to all. Her husband and kids were her life until grandbabies happened. Life with grandbabies is what put a smile on her face everyday. She was loyal, dedicated, kind hearted and loving. These are the attributes for which she will be remembered.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jackie Sue Taylor; son-in-law, Jeff Rohm and daughter-in-law, Lisa Russom.
Survivors include her husband, James Bell; five sons, Danny Wilson (Becky) of West Memphis, Arkansas, Mike Russom of Versailles, Kentucky, Terry Russom (Paula) of Lakeland, Tennessee, Behr Russom (Donna) of Alexandria, Virginia; Perry Russom of Marion, Arkansas; three daughters, Toni Rohm and Tammy Shannon of Marion, Arkansas, Linda Potts of Horn Lake, Mississippi; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grand-children; two brothers, Donald Cupples of Dayton, Texas, Travis Cupples (Melissa) of Warren, Texas and many nephews and nieces.
A visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. The Interment will take place at Crittenden Memorial Park immediately after the service.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know she was probably a "mom" figure to my brother Charles for sure, just like my mom was to Berry & Terry. Prayers for comfort and peace for your family.
