Louella Harrison Pearce English was born September 6, 1927, northwest of Searcy, Arkansas at Mt. Pisgah. She passed this life on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center in Henderson, TN. She was the third child of six children born to Willis Ivey Harrison and Fannie Sue Gilliam Harrison. Louella spent most of her childhood on the farm. She went to Sweet Spring School and also attended Harding Academy after her parents moved to Searcy.
Louella married Marvin Lee Pearce on January 26, 1946, shortly after Marvin came home from active service in the Pacific Theater of World War II. Following the death of Marvin (2014), Louella married Elton English of Letona, AR in 2017. Louella is survived by her husband, Elton; two children, a daughter, Karen Annette Pearce Walker and a son, Carey Randell Pearce. Karen is married to Harold Allen Walker and they have four children Leigh Anne Walker Sanderson of Red Bank, Mississippi - Philip Andrew Walker of Searcy, Arkansas Alexander Pearce Walker of Henderson, Tennessee and Nathan Allen Walker of Stagecoach, Texas. Randell (Randy) is married to Elvira and Randy has two children Cari Lynn Pearce Small of Arnold, Missouri and Marvin Randell Pearce of Dover, Tennessee. Louella had 16 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service is scheduled for Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Center Hill Baptist Cemetery with Interment to follow. All services are under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home, Searcy.
