Sharon Kay Reece

of Harriet, AR

February 17, 1949 - May 31, 2023

Sharon Kay Reece, age 74, of Harriet, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in her home at Harriet, Arkansas. She was born February 17, 1949 in Fifty-Six, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Robert Newton and Alda Marie (Bowers) Woody. Along with her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by 6 brothers and one sister.

Sharon loved spending time with family and friends. She loved to cut up, make funny faces and make everyone laugh. She had a way of bringing a smile and laughter to everyone's face. And if you met her, you would never forget her. She had to have hugs and kisses and she told you she loved you from then on and she meant it. She could whistle so well & so loud; you could probably hear from a mile away. She loved her grandchildren and her children with all her heart and cherished every moment she got to spend with them. She never met a stranger. When it was time to say goodbye, after a visit or a phone call, she always told you she loved you, God bless you and see you next time, bye for now. She was a wonderful woman, smiling through all her health issues that she dealt with for many years. She had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; she praised Him, loved Him and acknowledged Him every day.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Larry Alyoun Reece; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jamie Jerrell; her son, Kevin Reece and ex-daughter-in-law, Kelly; her youngest son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Joanna Reece; five grandchildren, Jessica Cullum and husband, Darrin, Justin Jerrell and wife, McKenzie, Gavin Reece, Rebecca Reece and Seth Reece; two great-grandchildren, Bryar Cullum and Brantly Cullum; two brothers, Gene Woody and Joel Woody and two sisters, Corine Trimble and Lois Sussman.

Funeral services for Sharon will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Clayton Lesley officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 till 2:00 PM preceding the service. Burial will be in Wallis/Wallace Cemetery in Stone County, Arkansas near Round Mountain, Arkansas. Bearers will be Keith Lewis, Richard Sutterfield, Justin Jerrell, Jamie Jerrell, Sean Steiger, Johnny Woody, Michael Woody, Curt Woody and Jamie Woody.
