On behalf of the Barker families, we wish to express our sincere condolences to all of Tammy Jo's families. Our mother was a resident at Craighead County Nursing Home for nearly 10 years. Tammy Jo was golden. She had a great big heart and smile. She cared personally and professionally for all of the residents. Our mother passed away about 16 years ago at the nursing home. Her name is Mary Barker. From the first visit to look into placement for our mother to live at CCNH, Tammy Jo was the first staff member we met. OMG - we were so blessed that she was one of the precious staff members that took care of our mother. Our family just fell in love with her. All of you are in our hugs and prayers during this time and the difficult days to come!

My sweet Tammy Jo. I can't believe you are not here on this earth any longer. How I wished our visit would had taken place last year. I want you to know that the news of the Lord calling you home did not "Rock Me Gently". It was a serious heavy blow to my heart!
Our Lord and Savior now has you in his Devine presence and oh how I know you are rejoicing with your loved that went before you. God has received his Angel back home and may you be at peace. Take in the unimaginable beautiful streets of gold. The glorious sounds of the Angels singing. The love you are receiving from your loved ones must be absolutely awesome.
Lady bird please fly high, I can't wait to come home to rejoice with you. You are free from all the illness and earthly pains now.
Please know how much I love you, miss you, and I am awaiting for reunion. God speed my love. God speed.
