Mr. and Mrs. Frazier both taught me in grades 7,8,9 at Frenchman's Bayou she was English and he was Science. They may have taught other classes from time to time but that is what I remember them both for. They were both very respected teachers and loved by many students. It is hard to keep the attention of young people, but somehow they were able too. Very fond memories. Thank you both.
Mr. and Mrs. Fraser are some of our favorite people. We truly love both of them.
Miss Lewers taught me English at Shawnee from 1962 to 1964 and was also the librarian. She was tough on me and later in life I understood and appreciated it. If I ever tried to short cut proper grammar Miss Lewers would be in my ear, still is. I referred to her as Miss because unfortunately I I never knew her as Mrs Frazer. She will always live in my memory as a person that helped shape my life. Rest in peace, job well done.
Mrs Lillian was absolutely the best she was one of my 3rd generation customers going back to my grandpa last we spoke I told her that I had the 4th generation in training and she had to be here for that she laughed and said oh jon I don't know if I'll make it that long.... sure will miss her and her sweet sprit
Mrs. Frazer was my dad's teacher growing up, and he always admired her. Until he passed away a few years ago, he would sometimes go visit with the Frazers and he brought me along a time or two. It was a treat to get to meet Mrs. Frazer and hear stories about her school days. She will be sorely missed, and I will never forget her. I offer condolences on behalf of myself and my dear departed dad, Bill King. Our family is praying for you, Mr. Frazer.
Mrs. Frazier will always be remembered as a great teacher!
May she ''descanse en paz.''
I'm still thankful she found the patience to teach a young me Spanish!
RIP
