Charlene Mullenax, 77, of Conway went to be with the Lord, May 24, 2023. She was born January 1, 1946 in Conway, Arkansas to Virgil and Emma Iburg.
She is preceded in death by her parents; mother and father in-law, Delma (Boe) and Voisy Mullenax and brother-in-laws, Mike Finch and JT Carter.
Charlene graduated from Vilonia High School in 1963 and Draughon's Business School. She is retired from Conway Corporation. Charlene loved her family but most adored babies and children and anything do with her grandkids or great-grandkids. She also loved crossword puzzles and playing games on her iPad.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, James Mullenax; son, Tony Mullenax (Dana); daughters, Tina Patterson (Perry), Theresa Kelley (Clifton); granddaughter, Lauren Miller; grandsons, Landon Green (Amanda), Michael Kelley (Colleen), Kevin Kelley; great-granddaughters, Gabrielle Green, Willow Kelley, Elena Kelley; great-grandsons, Mason Kelley, Cole Kelley; two sisters, Carma Jean Finch and Evelyn Carter; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Gayle Mullenax; several nieces; nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank the staff at Superior Health and Rehab for their care and support during her short illness.
There will be Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:00am. The Rosary and a visitation will be one hour prior to Mass. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Mausoleum.
