Willie Mae Neely, 96, of North Little Rock, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023. She was born on August 6, 1926 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Will and Patrie Shearins.
She is survived by her grandchildren, James Shearins (Charline) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Sheila Renee Owens of Little Rock, Arkansas; Willie Charles Owens Jr. (Sharon) of St. Pete, FL; Diane Owens Howley (Clemmett) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; Sammy Lee Owens Jr. (Darlene) of Little Rock, Arkansas; Patre Owens Allen of Bryant, Arkansas; Kadetra Burns Green (Edward) of Benton, Arkansas; Pamela Burns of Suffolk, VA; Dennis and Donaver (Twins) of Fort Worth, TX; and a host of great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, as well as other family members and friends.
Willie is preceded in death by her parents, Will and Patrie Shearins; sister, Millie Shearins; brother, Will Shearins Jr.; sons, Willie Charles ''Pee Wee'' Burns, Sammy Lee ''Doll Baby'' Burns; great-grandsons, Tony Johnson Jr., and Brad Howard; great-granddaughters, Angela Owens, and Ashley Owens; nieces, Joann Webster and Wanda Shearins Davis; and nephew, Fredrick ''Ricky'' Shearins.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at Eighth Street Missionary Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be held the evening before on Tuesday, May 30, from 6:00-7:00 PM, at Eight Street Missionary Baptist Church.
A graveside service will follow in procession to Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 PM, in North Little Rock.

I’m so sorry to learn of Ms. Neeley’s passing. I worked for Home Instead Senior Care and was her Case Manager. She became my best friend. She was always glad when I came to see her.
She meet my husband and immediately fell in love with him.
She called him her boy friend!
If she knew he was coming she would always had a treat for him.
I didn’t learn of her passing until today or I would have been at her funeral.
She was a very special lady!!
I will always remover her smile 😊

Sad to hear about your loss. Pray God will give you peace and comfort at this time. Not too many of us can see we have a grandmother. She was blessed as well as you was blessed to say my grandmother was 96 years old.
