August 17, 1953 - May 21, 2023
Brenda Curlin LaFoy, 69 of Marion, AR passed away Sunday night at home. She was loved so very much by all her family.
Her story begins on August 17, 1953 born to Presley L and Dorothy Curlin. Born with an identical twin sister, she also had 5 more siblings to grow up with that brought lots of fun and mischievous adventures as teenagers. Oh the stories that have been told. When she was 18 she was swooped off her feet by her high school sweetheart Craig. They married and navigated the ups and downs of life together for 51 years. They had 2 daughters and built their life in Marion.
Brenda worked as a title clerk most of her life but spent the last 20 as a homemaker taking care of her Craig and Meme to her grandkids. She was a heck of a cook and you would find her in the kitchen most of the time. Her love for baking grew as she grew older and loved making her family their favorites. She loved hanging with her sisters and going to get a Diet Coke. You wouldn't find her without a Diet Coke close by. Her favorite thing of all in life were her kids and grandkids that she got the blessing to watch each grow up. She was always willing to do whatever anyone of them asked her to do. As a Mom she loved her daughters with her whole heart. She will be so missed by all that loved and cherished her.
She leaves behind her husband Craig LaFoy, daughter Stacy Lesley (Jerry), daughter Katie LaFoy and grandkids Paxton (Whitney), Lane, Parker, Lexi, & Owen. Her sisters Debbie Brown, Linda Yawn (Jim), Ann Fairchild (Bill), a brother Ricky Curlin and many nephews. She also leaves 1 great grandson and a future great granddaughter on the way.
Her parents, brothers David Curlin, John Curlin, & nephew Adam preceded her in death.
May the Lord always hold your hand, Brenny!
A service for Brenda will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas, at the pavilion. The service will start at 11:00 AM.
