My sincerest condolences to all of Betty’s family. Betty volunteered in my first grade classroom for many years. She had such a kind and gentle soul. Betty spoiled me rotten, as she did all the staff at Scranton Elementary. SES loved her dearly! She will be greatly missed.

I worked with Betty the past ten years in the Foster Grandparent Program at Scranton Elementary. She was there early every day to make sure there was coffee made and to help in the lunchroom with breakfast. She stayed late to finish projects. Everyone knew they could count on Ms. Betty. Some may have thought she ran the school. She loved every minute of it.
She loved her family and told everyone about her boys. She was so proud of all of you. Rest in Peace my friend, you earned it.

Mrs. Betty was one of a kind. She was a tremendous help to me and my students at SES. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandson. We heard so many wonderful stories about her family and how proud she was of them. She spoiled all of us and is dearly missed. Sending prayers for her family.
