Chris Earl Wright, at the age of 61, departed this life on May 16, 2023 at his residence in Brighton, TN. Chris was born to Rollie and Beatrice Wright on April 2, 1962 in Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Wright.
Chris was known as ''Dad'','' Paw Paw'' and ''Jug head.'' He is survived by his three children, Angela Durbin (Cody) of Atoka, TN, Caitlin Jenkins (Stephen) of Atoka, TN and Cara Meadows (Malcom) Memphis, TN; Sister, Virginia Kellett (Steve) of Collierville, TN; Grandchildren, Kimberly, Brenden, Adalyn, Carson, Cannon, Noah, Lydia and girlfriend, Aprile Edwards of Brighton, TN.
Chris grew up in Memphis, TN, attending Westside Schools, where he played baseball with passion and excitement. He worked for Aunties Bakery for many years and then began his self-employed business, Wright's Home improvements. He had a sense of humor like no other and could have the entire room erupting in laughter at the drop of a dime. Chris loved to tinker with his various projects on cars, the garage and yard, he loved to grill, listen to music and take road trips to Mountain Home, Arkansas with his brother, Dennis. He loved all things Memphis. He enjoyed watching Memphis Memoirs, reading about Memphis history, the Memphis Tigers, Memphis Grizzlies and Memphis Wrestling. He loved watching Nascar, Memphis basketball, Cardinal Baseball and Dallas Cowboy Football.
Visitation and service will be take place on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Roller Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N. Pine St., West Memphis, Arkansas with the burial at Poplar Grove Cemetery, 151 Quito, Drummonds Rd., Drummonds, TN 38023

Chris my best friend ever you are going to be missing man I don't understand things by e it happens like it does but all of us has got that day coming and it was your day April I love you and Chris for all the years that y'all was together and you have my prayers and that also goes for his daughters Angie and Katie I have seen them girls grow since they were little babies your daddy was one tough man that had a heart on him bigger than gold and love y'all girls he talked about you all the time and you also have my prayers for you your sister and kids you know if y'all ever need anything call on me and I will be there for you if it's any way possible his family all y'all have been great to me as we have grown and raised kids together Chris wright brother you was like a brother to me and you are going to be missing me man you have helped me out every kind of way in the world and we have got past the worst in our lives I wish you didn't have to leave me this quick man cuz I don't know what I'm going to do without you love Tony bone

So sorry for your loss Chris was a good man going to be missed dearly ! Praying for the family ! We used to live up the road from you all. Played football at the church yard behind your house. We just lost my sister Linda Couch and it has been so hard for me so I know how you feel if there's anything I can do please just let me know Ps tell everyone that we said hi and we love you all. We will always be keeping you in are prayers. May God comfort you all do these hard and difficult times in life. And keep you all safe.
