Constance "Coni" Adela Baldwin

of Mountain Home, AR

May 26, 1941 - May 7, 2023

May 26, 1941 - May 7, 2023
Coni Baldwin was born and raised in Long Beach, California. She married Robert Stalder and they had three children together: Carol, Phillip, and Kenneth. She worked in the accounting office at the Long Beach Unified School District and as a budget analyst for the Chancellor's office at California State University, Long Beach. She married Edwin Baldwin on New Year's Eve 1988 in Long Beach. Over the years, they lived in Red Oak, Iowa and Carlsbad, New Mexico before settling in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Coni enjoyed spending time with family and friends, exploring the country with Ed in their motor home, and playing tennis. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home and sang in the choir. Coni volunteered for many years in the foundation office of Baxter Regional Medical Center.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, and was loved by many. She will be deeply missed.
Coni is survived by her husband Ed, children Carol Nimmons (John), Phillip Stalder, Jeffrey Baldwin (Kelly), and Dr. Beth Morrell (John), 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brother Paul Browne, and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Constance Browne and her son Kenneth.
Funeral service will be Saturday, May 13th at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Daniel Thueson officiating.

I was just looking up Constance today while going through my ancestry/family tree in the hopes of learning more about my Browne side. I found a yearbook picture from Wilson High and decided to google her name and found this. Coni was my dad Tim Browne's cousin. They were 14 years apart, so probably not very close while growing up. Though crazy to think about how many family members I've had around Long Beach and Orange County that I never got a chance to meet. I was sad to see that she just passed, but it looks like she's had a great family and life and I'm grateful to learn that. And she's just as beautiful in the picture here as her yearbook photo. I wish all the best to the Browne/Stalder/Baldwin families.

I am so sad to hear about your loss Ed and family. Coni was such a sweet soul, kind to the core. I will miss sitting, visiting & singing by her in choir for several years. She will be missed sorely, but I bet she is singing in Heaven now. Prayers and Peace be with you all in the days ahead.
