Mr. Louis Carrillo, Jr. of Lakeview, Arkansas passed away on May 7, 2023. He was born December 13, 1926 in Indiana Harbour, Indiana to Louis and Myrtle Carrillo. On February 18, 1950 he married Aurora C. Carvajal in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Carrillo moved to Lakeview in 2004 from Sauk Village, Illinois. A machinist, Mr. Carrillo was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and a member of the VFW of Bull Shoals. He enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, gardening and reading books.
Survivors are two sons, Louis (Carolyn) Carrillo of Oak Lawn, Illinois and Stanley (Pam) Carrillo of Manteno, Illinois; four daughters, Mary (Kevin) Moback of Lakeview, Arkansas, Patti (Curt) Cummings of Rotonda, West, Florida, Stacie (Douglas) Foster of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Theresa (Ryan) Sweet of Ozark, Missouri; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl (Rod) Werner of San Pierre, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Aurora Carrillo; a daughter, Margaret Lennie; a son-in-law, Troy King and two grandsons, Anthony Caposey and Adam Carrillo.
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2023 at Roller Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m. in the Roller Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Building Fund.
